Hello I am New Nametag Sticker Rookie Trainee

Michele O'Leary

Exciting things are happening at SSC, and new employees are always worth celebrating.  Read on for a little bit about one of our newest employees, Michele O’Leary.

IMG956522As a young girl growing up in Iowa, Michele was already reaching for grandeur with her sights set on becoming a “Fly Girl” on the hit TV series “In Living Color”.  While waiting for her audition call, she decided to get through high school and then found herself at the University of Iowa, where she majored in Psychology, and eventually transferred career paths to Elementary Education. She finished her degree at a private college in Iowa where she graduated with honors.  Like most people with a degree not at all telecom-related, she found herself moving to Kansas to be employed by Sprint PCS.  While in Kansas City, Michele was able to complete her Master’s Degree, and continue to obtain experience in the telecommunications industry with an employment change to Verizon Wireless.  In 2010 she moved her extensive knowledge of site development and telecom in general out to Denver Colorado, and has loved every minute of the change of scenery (since there is actual scenery to see now).  With 20 years under her belt in this exciting and ever changing industry, we are happy to have the opportunity to add Michele to the SSC team as our Denver, Colorado office General Manager.

When not in the office, you will probably find Michele running, hiking, snowboarding, standup paddle boarding, and teaching her two children to love the outdoors as much as she does.  She is also waiting, still, for America to recognize its need for “Fly Girls”, and dreaming about becoming a force to be reckoned with on the roller derby court.

Welcome to SSC, Michele! We are so glad to have you.
