Jim Steele

Principal

Jim Steele is a founding principal of SSC, guiding the firm since its inception in 1997. Mr. Steele has over 25 years of experience in construction, construction management, and project management.

Currently, Mr. Steele is in charge of the company’s administrative management and provides oversight of Selective Site Properties, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SSC.

Larry Louk

Principal

Larry began his professional career in 1982 as a practicing attorney in the areas of real estate negotiations including acquisitions and commercial lease negotiation/litigation, business development, municipal zoning matters and special assessment litigation, construction litigation, licensing agreements, and public hearing presentations.

Presently, Larry serves as general counsel to SSC and is President of SSC’s affiliated company, Selective Site Development, which currently concentrates on new tower development. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas where he received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1979 and a Juris Doctorate in 1982.

Terry Super, P.E.

Principal

Terry Super has been a principal of SSC since 1999. He is a registered professional engineer, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from Rockhurst College in 1974 and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri in 1978.

His experience includes design, supervision, management, and administration of projects for wireless telecommunication sites as well as power, lighting, grounding, control, and alarm system design for new and existing commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

David Saab

Vice President, Development

David has been solving problems with SSC since 1999. Headquartered in Kansas City, he has worked throughout the country. He has been active locally and nationally in the Wireless Industry as a speaker and presenter, with a stint as president of the Missouri-Kansas Wireless Association.

Locally, David has been involved with Habitat for Humanity, the Urban Trail Co and the Mutual Musicians Foundation. Given his diverse interests and creativity it is only fitting that his lead role is that of lead business developer for the company.

Trevor Wood

Vice President, Site Acquisition & Regulatory Strategies

Trevor has been a part SSC for more than a decade. Beginning with a his legal background, Trevor brings clarity to things confusing. While based in KC, his frequent work throughout the central, southern and western United States, assures our clients that they have the whole real estate picture, locally and nationally.

Outside the office, Trevor spends time with family, enjoying the outdoors, being a soccer fan, and finding new and interesting alternative energy sources. With his vast and varied experience to pull from, it is fitting that he leads the Real Estate: Site Acquisition & Regulatory Strategies department.

Geoffrey Westra

Vice President, Operations

Geoffrey has been with SSC since 2000. After working in the engineering finance and accounting fields throughout the country and overseas, he finally settled into working at our Kansas City headquarters. He is fluent in the languages of finance and French.

In Kansas City, Geoffrey is involved with non-profit organizations including the Missouri-Kansas Wireless Association, the Highlands Elementary Foundation, and the Film Commission of Greater Kansas City. Drawing from his extensive experience and understanding of how the world works it only makes sense that he has his eye on the bottom line.

Marcus Thomas

Director, Managed Services

Marcus has been with SSC since 2006.  An architect by trade, he started his professional career in the varied world of development, design, and construction, experience he brings to the telecommunications industry. Leading SSC’s Management Services division, Marcus is the firm’s management best-practice leader.

When not in the office, Marcus enjoys coaching youth football and basketball, volunteering for numerous non-profits within the realm of strategic and facilities planning, and spending time outdoors. With his attention to detail and desire for constant improvement, his leadership of the firm’s management activities is a natural fit.

Steve Wilson

Director, DAS and In-Building Services

After graduating from The United States Air Force Academy, Steve had a fine career culminating in a prestigious position with the Air Force’s Space Command. His technical background and leadership skills made the transition to telecommunications a natural fit. From wireline to wireless, Steve has built a reputation for straight-talk and results.

Embracing the convergence of technologies that are developing faster and faster every year, is key to what he brings to SSC. By applying analytics and experience, your in-building solution is in good hands.
